Pub quiz 2nd edition Wolthoorn & Co
Well. There you are. After completely exhausting yourself at school, you find yourself at a totally different setting. The scent? Nothing new. The view? This one is also familiar. We’re talking about a beautiful authentic bar that opened her doors in 1923, carrying the name of “Wolthoorn & Co”. But what brings you, besides the vibrant ambiance, to the insides of this compound again?
The answer won’t surprise you. It’s nothing less than the almost old-fashioned fun and coziness that the KIC organised activities bring along. And not just any activity. Oh no. We’re talking about the 2nd edition of the oh so renowned pub quiz! This pub quiz started a fire in the hearts of our KIC members, which are now yearning for another round of this spectacular event.
So that’s what you’re at the bar for. The 2nd edition. A rematch. The moment to show off your common knowledge, which can be compared with the 24 part encyclopedia collection that’s dusting away at grandma’s. And you really need the knowledge. After everyone took their seats around 8, nobody was spared. In comparison to last edition, the questions required enormous amounts of not only the common, but also of many specific topics. Topics like science, but also the well renowned: our own 050.
After a couple of rounds of intense battle, the eternal fame belonged to the team consisting of Geja, Sanne, David, Jelle, Olaf, and Twan. They were rewarded with a giant amount of candy, which was to be shared among all.
Looking back, we can see that tonight showed that a KIC pub quiz can, just as last time, definitely be repeated.
